I enjoy travel a lot. So I decided to setup a blog exclusively about travel and various destinations around the world. The site is Vacation Lair.Since there is so much to talk about, and so many great places to write about I will try to keep posting daily. It is really quite fun to learn more about different places in the world.

I recently got back from a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Our resort was cool and all that jazz. The most interesting part of the trip was taking the scenic photo of the downtown area. To do this, Allie and I decided to climb up the hill into the city to try to get a great view of the downtown area.
This is when the adventure begins. We start going up the mass of stairs and hill to find a spot to take a picture. After every corner we of course look back to see if we have a view. When we got about 1/3 the way up the hill we stoped and took a picture of a birthday party or something out on the street (complete with a pinata) and continued our journey upwards. There were lots of small roads and such that wound around and after about an hour we saw one that looked like it would have a promising view. Now this wasn’t your ordinary road, this was more of a stairway going several stories into the air and has a very sketchy looking railing. On one side was a bunch of houses, and the other almost certain death. Perfect. About half way up we ask a local if there are any spots where we can take a picture of the sunset from up there. He advises us that there is a dirt hill at the top of the stairs we can climb, but warns us of an impending death by way of sharp jagidy rocks if we miss our step. So we go up there, and there is really nothing to see because of trees and wires. Then we talk to the man again and he tells us to go up on the roof of the top house from the stairs. This sounds like an equally great idea, so we do this. The view from up there was great. Photo can be seen here:
